
Fall Protection: This course is designed to teach the nature of fall hazards, procedure for assembly/disassembly, inspection of and use of fall protection equipment, CAZ, and residential fall protection requirements. Permit Required Confined Spaces: This course is designed for both construction and manufacturing companies who enter confined spaces. This course will teach the participant on how to recognize a confined space, responsibility with entry supervisor, attendant, entry person, proper testing, filling out permits, existing and potential hazards, use of safety equipment, rescue. Scaffolds: Participants will learn the hazards involved when erecting, dismantling and working on various types of scaffolds, rated capacities, working around electrical hazards, falling object protection and different applications for use. This course includes Ladder Safety training. Forklift Certification: This course will teach the participant on truck controls and instrumentation, engine operation, steering, visibility, attachments, vehicle capacity and stability, surface conditions, load manipulation, and more. On site testing of specific lifts scheduled separately. Excavations/ Competent Person: Learn about surface encumbrances and how to work around them, soil types, shoring, trench boxes and proper sloping. Competent person requirements and other hazards associated with working in and around excavations. Aerial Lift Operation: Participants will learn about how to properly maintain an aerial lift, safety requirements when operating, maneuvering a lift over rough terrain, overhead hazards, safety equipment used and limitations of lifts. Scissor Lift Operation: This course will teach the participant on the hazards involved when working in a lift, safety requirements, overhead hazards and limitations of use. Hand on operation training can be provided. Electrical in Construction: Participants will learn about the safety requirements for practical safeguarding of employees in construction, installation requirements, safety-related work practices including NFPA 70E, safety related maintenance, assured equipment grounding conductor programs, ground fault circuit interrupters, written program requirements, effective guarding of live parts and much more. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Topics include types of protection for eyes, face, head, extremities, protective clothing, respiratory protection and more. Learn how to use various types of equipment, their limitations and the requirements for use. Also learn more about employee owned equipment. 40 Hour Hazwoper/8 Hour refresher: This course is for employees who are engaged in the clean-up of hazardous substances at construction sites. Curriculum includes general hazardous wastes operations, RCRA operations, Emergency Response, Hazardous Waste Operations and Site-specific Training, Regulatory knowledge, medical surveillance programs, , site specific safety and health programs, response plan and procedures, illumination, sanitation and equipment, PPE and much more. This course meets the requirements of 29 CFR 1926.65 Appendix E. Rigging Certification: This course is designed for individuals who are designated riggers in construction and manufacturing. Participants will learn how to inspect rigging equipment, understand safe working loads for rigging equipment, types of rigging equipment available, learn how to properly use slings and chains, and learn many more techniques. |
